Transplanting Project On Construction Site Going Well Says Tree Moving Company
SEATTLE, WA: Big Trees Inc., (http://bigtreesupply.com/) has reported excellent progress being made on a project they have been contracted for, involving the moving of several trees off-site of a construction site in progress for the purpose of saving the trees. According to an executive from the company, the project will be completed and the trees transplanted in time for the fall season.
The company, Big Trees Inc., was approached to move a number of large Beech Trees, each over 10,000 pounds, to new locations. The purpose for the move is to avoid construction underway which would either damage the trees or stop the construction. Despite the fact that the trees are very large and thus present a challenge in safely transplanting them to a new location, Big Trees Inc. reports excellent progress being made on the project.
Big Trees Operation’s Manager, Todd Holmes stated “We’ve been happy to report that the project has been moving forward very well. All of the trees have ‘hardened off’ which means the new growth has become stable and secure as part of the trees standard foliage, so now this makes the trees exceptionally ready for transplanting. We try to schedule these projects of large tree transplants to be ready to move in the fall. Fall is the best time to plant, and this becomes even more vital with larger trees. So we fully expect to see this project come to a successful conclusion.”
